Whether it's a whole new garden or a small area within an existing garden, I am happy to create a planting scheme that meets your needs.

The process

1. I make an initial visit to look at the garden and talk through your requirements.

2. Following this meeting I send you a written brief to confirm your requirements and an outline of my costs.

Initial consultations are free, if local. Otherwise expenses including time and travel may be charged.

3. If you wish me to proceed I visit the garden again to carry out a site survey to determine levels, dimensions, drainage, aspect, soil ph and any other relevant issues, as necessary.

4. Using the information gathered I draw up a scaled plan of the area(s) to be planted and work on the design of your planting scheme. Initial concept designs will be shared with you.

5. After any necessary revisions have been made, a final planting plan is produced, along with a bill of quantities giving numbers, sizes and estimated cost of each plant required.
